Miss Sahara invites you to a Black-tie Gala dinner showing African-Australian women’s beauty and rich culture.
Join us for a night full of glamour and great entertainment featuring the finest Afro-DJs, and special live performances (African Singers and Dancers), and enjoy Miss Sahara 2023 ladies walking the runway.
Miss Sahara is an initiative on behalf of LEAD BEYOND EDUCATION (LBE), a not-for-profit charity organisation. LBE breaks down economic and educational barriers to create pathways for stability and empowerment through its leadership and capacity-building programs. Through Miss Sahara’s national beauty pageant, we celebrate the diversity of women of African heritage in Australia, showcasing the diversity of African women and culture.
Miss Sahara is underpinned by a participant’s ability to advocate and raise awareness of Africa’s diverse and rich cultures and allow them to present themselves as ambassadors of success. Miss Sahara facilitates personal growth and skill development to empower women to accomplish their life goals and dreams continually.
Miss Sahara is about building social cohesion within our communities and the broader Australian communities.
